WA: Return urged of stolen staircase

PERTH, Jan 20 AAP - It almost sounds like a plot from an Agatha Christie novel.
Staircase chainsawed from an old hospital disappears without a trace.
But in this case, the truth is stranger than fiction after thieves brazenly stole amajestic staircase about 10 years ago from the Old Swanbourne Hospital in Perth's westernsuburbs.
The thieves - or anyone who knows the whereabouts of the staircase - have been urgedto return it to its rightful home so it can be restored to its former glory like the restof the hospital.
